I learned to look before I learned to talk about it. My father repaired projectors in Marseille, so I spent most of my childhood in the dark, watching other people’s films twice. I came to Paris for the work and stayed for the winters. I still shoot the way I watched back then - slowly, holding a frame one beat too long.

For close to a decade I’ve made films for people who’d rather be understood than admired: labels that trust silence, brands with nothing to announce, artists who show up as they are. I edit at night, by instinct, and I keep the take where something almost went wrong.
